Icelandic dogbone bricks

The dogbone bricks mould seems to have been the last slotted bricks mould to arrive in Iceland, possibly as late as 1957. It is the mould with the least amount of colour variation. It did not include long beams, so it is different from the mould used in Norway.

Here the Icelandic dogbone bricks can be seen compared with Danish bricks on top. They appear to have been made using a different plastic material:

Brick variations

Here is an overview of what bricks were available in this mould. The short lines crossing the outlines of the bricks are there to identify the slots in the bricks.
